Kalamazoo sheriff searching for missing woman, may be experiencing mental health crisis

ALAMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a woman who went missing Wednesday afternoon in Alamo Township.

Jennifer McCormick, 55, is believed to have walked away from her home on West AB Avenue near Ravine Road, deputies said. She was last seen around 5:30 p.m. and may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

McCormick is described as being 4-feet, 8-inches tall and weighing about 150lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Deputies and other first responders are currently in the area conducting searches,” the sheriff’s office wrote. “We are asking residents and anyone traveling through the area to remain alert and contact authorities if they may have seen Jennifer recently.”…
