KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Tuesday brings another pleasant round of weather with mostly sunny skies this morning, giving way to increasing clouds by afternoon. Highs will reach near 84 degrees with manageable humidity and light east winds around 10 mph. It’s a great day to get outside, but keep the UV index in mind — levels will reach “very high” at midday, so plan outdoor activities before 11 a.m. or after 3 p.m. if possible.

What was once looking to be a wet day has trended much drier, as the next weather system has slowed down. A holding pattern keeps us in the mid-80s with light east winds at 5-10 mph.
