KCPD IDs victim in casino parking garage killing

KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating a deadly shooting in Kansas City casino parking garage have identified the victim as 45-year-old Richard Miller.

Just after 11:30p.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to a shooting in 1800 block of E Front Street, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.

First responders were directed to the parking garage near the Bally’s Casino where they located a shooting victim later identified as Miller unresponsive near a vehicle in the lot there.

Officers rendered aid and summoned EMS to the scene. EMS responded and transported Miller to the hospital with life threatening injuries. At the hospital Miller was declared deceased…
