KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law graduate walked the stage last month, but she wasn’t alone.
Alongside Rebekah Arwood (J.D. ’26) was her service dog, Nugget, who was also awarded a ‘Juris Dogtor’ degree.
“It was great to be able to have him up on the stage with me, because I would not have completed law school if it weren’t for him being with me,” said Arwood. “That recognition of him being with me and seeing it all come together… it was wonderful.”
