KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 21-year-old Kansas City man suffered moderate injuries Friday morning after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing on Interstate 35, authorities said.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 3:30 a.m. when the driver of a southbound 2016 Dodge Journey fell asleep, drifted across lanes and traveled off the right side of the roadway.
