KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A tractor trailer carrying cooking oil crashed and caused a mess for drivers heading east out of downtown Kansas City Friday afternoon.
Traffic cameras showed a jackknifed semi blocking two lanes of Interstate 70 near 23rd Street. Emergency responders closed the third lane as they responded to the crash.
A spokesperson for the Kansas City Fire Department said a specialized team that deals with hazardous materials responded to the scene. The team confirmed cooking oil leaked out of the truck…
