Kansas City police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near a midtown Walgreens store Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the store at the intersection of West 39th Street and Broadway Boulevard around 2:45 p.m. on a shooting call, said Capt. Jake Becchina, a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department. There, they found a man in a parking lot who was unresponsive.
