Kansas City man sentenced for high-speed boat chase at Lake of the Ozarks

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 40-year-old Kansas City man has been sentenced for a high-speed boat chase with Missouri State troopers at the Lake of the Ozarks last summer.

Loren Peters pleaded guilty to a felony charge of resisting arrest and was sentenced to 5 years of supervised probation. He also pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges, including BWI and nonregistration of a vessel. He was fined $500 for the BWI charge and $200 for the other charge.
