UPDATE, noon | The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department released additional details on Thursday morning’s crash.
It occurred as a motorcycle officer was doing school zone enforcement and tried to catch a speeding vehicle when the motorcycle went down.
The officer has non-life-threatening injuries…
