KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) -Major healthcare changes are about to leave thousands of Kansas City immigrants uninsured.
Beginning Oct. 1, noncitizens who do not meet strict federal residency requirements will lose their Medicaid benefits. A second wave of cuts will follow on Dec. 31, ending Affordable Care Act Marketplace plans for those same residents and barring them from enrolling for 2027 coverage.
