TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa business and civic leaders are heading to Kansas City in October as part of the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s largest-ever intercity visit.
The Oct. 5-7 trip will bring together city officials, county leaders and business executives to study how Kansas City grew its downtown population from about 5,000 residents in 2000 to roughly 35,000 today.
Why Kansas City?
Chamber leaders said the city was chosen because of its success creating a more active downtown neighborhood through housing, public-private partnerships and transportation investments.
What Tulsa hopes to learn
