WYANDOTTE COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) – Gilbert Kirk told KCTV5 on Wednesday that all he wanted was a tarp. On Friday, a stranger walked into his yard and made him a promise.
“He walked up in my yard over here. He says, hey, I came by yesterday and looked at your house. But he says, I’ll be back in about thirty minutes and we’ll get some material and tarp and a crew and we’ll be back to start in on this. Get it covered up,” Kirk said.
