The family of former KSHB 41 anchor Cynthia Newsome announced on Sunday that her funeral will now be held at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood on Saturday.
The original plan was for the service to take place at United Believers Community Church in Kansas City. Rev. Darron LaMonte Edwards, lead pastor at United Believers, will still officiate the service, according to a news release.
The public viewing will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service. Newsome will then be buried at Mount Moriah Cemetery South in Kansas City…
