Knoxville Police searching for missing woman last seen on Western Avenue

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Police Department is searching for a missing woman who was last seen nearly a week ago on Western Avenue.

According to KPD, Dana Bass, 57, was last seen around 6:30 p.m. on June 18, when she was dropped off in the 5700 block of Western Avenue. There, she planned to pick up her 2002 red Mazda Protege. She has not been seen or heard from since then, the police department said.

When Bass was last seen, she was wearing an EMS Week T-Shirt. Knoxville Police stated the Mazda she was picking up has the Tennessee tag 858BQPF, and is very loud because of a missing exhaust.

Anyone who sees Bass is asked to call 911. KPD added that if you have information about where she may be, contact the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers.
