The city of Oak Ridge is beginning a new event called ‘Conversations with the city’ that’s aimed at giving residents an opportunity to speak with the city manager.
City leaders and city staff will join Oak Ridge City Manager Randy Hemann on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 5:30 p.m. for the first meeting at Calamity’s Coffee, 219 Jackson Square.
“We’re holding our first one at Calamity’s Coffee in Jackson Square because it’s already a common gathering place for Oak Ridgers,” Hemann said in a city news release. “There is no set agenda, it is just an opportunity for citizens to ask questions and discuss issues ranging from potholes and leaf pickup to recreation and new nuclear industry.”…
