LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Saturday will see very warm temperatures ahead of a cold front. Highs reach the upper 80s in many areas with spotty storms developing during the afternoon hours. This evening, rain chances increase ahead of a cold front that will move through overnight. Severe weather is not anticipated with the front overnight.
Highest storm chances arrive after midnight into early Sunday morning. Sunday will see drier weather conditions after the front passes. Clouds will linger throughout the day as winds kick up. Highs will be in the lower 70s.
Quiet weather settles in for Monday before warm and humid conditions return Tuesday. Spotty rain chances also return each afternoon. High temperatures climb above 80 once again.
