LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Showers and thunderstorms will move through the area Saturday bringing heavy rain and strong storms to the area. Most of the rain will occur during the morning into the early afternoon hours. Some storms could produce damaging winds and hail along with potential flooding if storms linger. Highs will reach near 80. The Rayne Frog Festival will have to contend with storm chances when gates open, but rain chances decrease through the evening hours.
