GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — One of the alleged victims of a Michigan State University doctor says it took the university four days to suspend him from seeing patients after he was accused of sexually assaulting patients.
Lawrence Nolan, an attorney representing an alleged victim of Arpit Saxena, told the Detroit Free Press that his client would not have been assaulted if the university was quicker to take action.

Saxena was arrested earlier this month in Atlanta trying to board a flight out of the country. According to MSU’s Department of Police and Public Safety, the first complaint was filed on April 3, 2025. A patient had just left her medical appointment at an MSU health care facility and reported she was sexually assaulted by the physician.
Nolan’s patient was allegedly assaulted the next day in the same exam room. Saxena was “removed from his role of seeing patients on April 7, 2025, and eventually dismissed from his position.”…
