Charlotte firefighters help replace kid’s bike after crash

CHARLOTTE, Mich. (WLNS) — A kid who was hit by a car while riding his bike in Charlotte ended up with only minor injuries and a new bike.

The 12-year-old was headed to school Wednesday morning when he was hit by a car while crossing the road, the Charlotte Fire Department said in a social media post. It happened right in front of the West Side Fire Station, and a firefighter who witnessed the crash was able to help immediately.
