LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — This week on Crime Stoppers, police need your help solving a more-than-two-decades-old disappearance in Lansing and identifying people wanted in relation to a vehicle theft and purse snatching incident.

Disappearance of Derick Noble Brown
22-year-old Derek Noble Brown was last seen in the 2900 block of Midwood Street in Lansing on May 13, 2001. Investigators suspect foul play in his disappearance. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a white and blue plaid cotton shirt, faded blue jeans, and brown loafers.
Vehicle Theft
The Lansing Police Department is asking for help in identifying two men wanted in connection to a vehicle theft that happened on May 7, 2026. The vehicle has since been recovered.
Purse Snatcher
