When DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office members made a traffic stop on Aug. 4, they found more than passengers in the vehicle, and their discoveries led to multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of more than $2.8 million.
According to DeKalb County deputies, who conducted a traffic stop on a van, the agency recovered approximately 220 to 250 pounds of suspected marijuana from the vehicle. “Further investigations led to a storage facility in DeKalb County, where deputies executed a search warrant and recovered an additional approximately 1,200 boxes of synthetic THC, mushroom (Psilocybin) and suspected marijuana products,” explained deputies.
Six individuals were subsequently arrested in connection with the drug seizure:
- Safin T. Rajwani, Aadil Samnani, Nooruddin T. Rajwani and Salim Vadsaria, all charged with charged with trafficking marijuana
- Raheen S. Dadani, charged with possession of marijuana/more than an ounce
- Piyush Vadasariya, charged with possession of schedule 1 controlled substance.
All suspects were taken into custody without incident and transported to the DeKalb County Jail…
