VERSAILLES, Ky. (FOX 56) — Washington County deputies arrested a Versailles man Tuesday who was wanted on multiple warrants.

According to a news release, deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office were on a routine patrol June 16 when they spotted a stopped vehicle on Tablow Road in Willisburg.
During the investigation, deputies learned that Roney McKinney, 49, of Versailles, was wanted on seven warrants in Woodford County.
Officials said that McKinney’s warrants included a combination of indictment warrants involving 29 total felony charges, including receiving stolen property, persistent felony offender, burglary, and criminal possession of forged instruments. He was also wanted on several probation violations.

McKinney is being held in the Woodford County Detention Center on a $20,000 cash bond. His next court date is set at 1 p.m. July 6…
