Little Rock police investigating River Market shooting; businesses describe chaos, safety concerns

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Police are investigating a shooting in the River Market District late Saturday night that hurt one person.

Officers from the Little Rock Police Department were called to East President Clinton Avenue at 10:54 and found a person who had been shot. They took the victim to a nearby hospital, where they are expected to be. The police haven’t said anything about a potential suspect yet.

Witnesses and business employees said the scene quickly turned chaotic as gunfire rang out…
