Kestrel Design Group transformed a dated two-story building in Lakewood into a vibrant Mile High Flood District headquarters, blending legacy with modern design to foster community and inspire employees.
In celebration of 50 years of service to Denver and the surrounding communities, Mile High Flood District set out to create a new headquarters that would reflect both its legacy and its forward-looking mission. Faced with the choice to lease or buy, the team made a bold investment in their future by purchasing a permanent headquarters. The result is a workplace that feels open, welcoming, and intentionally designed around how people work—and feel—every day…
