MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A new white marble headstone now stands at Forest Hill Cemetery in honor of a Vietnam War hero whose final resting place began to show wear from time.
Lieutenant Colonel William Leftwich was killed in 1970 while leading a rescue mission in Vietnam. He was 39 years old.
