COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – Major changes are coming to Collierville-Arlington Road. The Town of Collierville will reduce the road from five to seven lanes to three lanes, with one in each direction and a continuous center turn lane.
Neetu Signh, Transportation Engineer for Collierville, told FOX13 the change is necessary.
“It was built to carry regional traffic initially when it was designed. It was supposed to be a major north-south connector,” said Singh. “Since 269 opened up and 385 connection was made, it took all the regional traffic away.”…
