MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Hundreds of people lined the streets of High Point Terrace on Saturday morning for the neighborhood’s annual Fourth of July parade, a tradition that has brought the community together for generations.
The streets were filled with decorated floats, classic cars and paradegoers celebrating Independence Day.
Organizers estimated that nearly 1,000 people attended this year’s event.
For many families, the parade is as much about spending time together as it is celebrating the holiday.
