HERNANDO, Miss. (WMC) – The Hernando Police Department has placed one of its officers on administrative leave after her arrest on a criminal child neglect charge Friday.
A department spokesperson confirmed that the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office contacted HPD about an investigation into one of its officers earlier in the day.
That investigation led to the swift arrest of Officer Chandler Moss-Hernandez, 28.
