EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) – A 62-year-old woman was arrested after law enforcement found around 500,000 fentanyl pills inside furniture boxes during a traffic stop on U.S Interstate 70.
According to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office, a Gore Range Narcotic Interdiction Team Task Force-assigned deputy noticed on Thursday that a car with Arizona license plates was reportedly making several traffic violations. Authorities said the driver’s behavior and the deputy’s observations promoted further investigation.
