MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Wednesday who they say participated in an illegal intersection takeover in the county’s Gladeview neighborhood.
The suspect was identified in an arrest report as 27-year-old Evian Jamar Griffin.
According to the report, detectives with MDSO’s Homeland Security Bureau’s Intelligence and Investigations Section were investigating organized intersection takeovers when they identified Griffin as the driver of a black Infiniti during an event around 2:11 a.m. Sunday near Northwest 77th Terrace and Northwest 24th Avenue…
