The latest dining-and-drinking addition to Miami Worldcenter brings together a Jonas brother, a popular menswear designer and great views of the city skyline.
Singer Nick Jonas and designer John Varvatos have co-founded Villa One Tequila Gardens, a new Baja-style Mexican restaurant and high-end tequila and mezcal bar, at the $6 billion mixed-use development at 1010 NE Second Ave. in downtown Miami.
Villa One Tequila Gardens will occupy almost 13,000 square feet of rooftop space. It will feature a raw bar and more than 150 tequila and mezcal options. There will also be a tequila tasting room with a tequila sommelier and a speakeasy that will be operated by a nightlife brand to be announced later.
“Villa One Tequila Gardens will create a unique entertainment destination within Miami Worldcenter with a special rooftop experience unlike anything else in downtown,” said Nitin Motwani, managing partner of Miami Worldcenter Associates, in a statement.
Villa One Tequila Gardens, which is scheduled to open sometime in 2025, will join a slew of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues scheduled to open at the property, a 27-acre mixed use development. Its neighbors will include Juvia, the rooftop restaurant and bar formerly in Miami Beach ; Maple & Ash from Chicago; Serafina from New York and Sixty Vines from Texas ; and the national chain Earls Kitchen + Bar.
