The gruesome case gripped local headlines for months, but nearly five years after the dismembered body parts of a Minneapolis man were found scattered throughout the city, there are still few answers.
Minneapolis Police confirmed to Bring Me The News that the murder case of Adam Richard Johnson, 36, remains open and active. Still, little new information has been released since his remains were found in four different locations across the city in 2021.
Johnson’s remains were first discovered on the 300 block of Northeast Main Street, near the Ukrainian Community Center, on the morning of June 17, 2021. As police responded to the area, they were alerted that more body parts were found in two separate areas near University Avenue and Northeast Third Street.
