MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WKRC) – A restaurant stopped charging customers for food after switching to a donation-based system, and the owner said profits have never been better in a recent interview.
According to The New York Times, profits are up at the Post Modern Times cafe after the business stopped charging for food, began operating on a donation-based system, with staff working on a volunteer basis.
In a post to Instagram on January 26, owner Dylan Alverson wrote that the Modern Times would be changing its name to the Post Modern Times and operating under a donation-based system to stop “making money for the fascists that occupy” the City of Minneapolis…
