(Minnetonka MN-) Highway 12 will be closed in both directions between Central Avenue in Wayzata and Interstate 494 in Minnetonka starting Friday night as part of a two-weekend project to resurface the road and make drainage repairs.
The closures will be between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, and then again from 10 p.m. Friday, May 8, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 11.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Highway 12 hasn’t had any significant pavement improvements since 2008, saying this project will give Highway 12 “another 20-plus years of life and will ultimately benefit motorists, businesses and residents.”…
