Monterey Co.: Arrest Made In String Of Copper Wire Thefts From Agricultural Businesses

A Stanislaus County man accused of stealing over $50,000 worth of copper wire from agricultural businesses in Monterey County was arrested on Thursday.

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office had been investigating a string of at least six recent robberies from ag businesses in the county and allegedly identified 30-year-old Filadelfo Osorio Diaz through surveillance footage and automated license plate reader hits, the Sheriff’s Office said.
