Riverbank has attracted interest from developers about putting data centers at or near the former Army ammunition plant on Claribel Road.
According to records obtained by The Modesto Bee, Aemetis, a renewable-fuels company, is working on plans for a 60-megawatt data center at the former ammo plant. A company representative said it’s not part of a large data center proposal, just east of the plant, that seems to be indicated in records.
