Police investigate Stockton mall robbery

STOCKTON, Calif. — A jewelry store was robbed April 10 in a smash-and-grab at a Stockton mall, according to police.

The robbery happened at Kay Jewelers inside the Weberstown Mall. The victim, a 38-year-old woman, was working when four suspects entered with a sledgehammer, the Stockton Police Department said. Police described the suspects as one Black man and three other men of unknown race.

The suspects broke several displays and stole merchandise. The suspects then fled away in a vehicle. Police said the exact items and value are still under investigation…
