STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. — One person is dead and another is injured after a collapse at the Canyon Tunnel Project, according to the Modesto Fire Department.
Crews from Modesto and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire responded to a rescue near Schell Road and Sonora Road near the community of Knights Ferry after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
