MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – An arrest is being made in connection to a shooting that injured a girl Monday afternoon in Montgomery, and court documents are shedding more details on the investigation.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, John Turner, 29, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree assault.
Turner’s arrest stems from the shooting of a minor around 5:15 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Terminal Road. That’s near Air Base Boulevard.
