HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Good Wednesday morning. We are already tracking some scattered showers and some occasional lightning for portions of Northwest Alabama early this morning.
Skies are cloudy with a very humid feel, morning temperatures are warm in the middle 60s to lower 70s. Our weather pattern will get more unsettled starting today and will continue all the way through Memorial Day and beyond. Today will be very humid with increasing clouds, high temps are cooler as a result topping out in the middle 80s. Scattered to numerous rain showers and thunderstorms will develop by late morning and will continue into the evening.
Thursday and Friday also bring rounds of fairly widespread downpours and thunderstorms. As of right now, no one particular day will bring an organized threat of severe storms. The storms today through Friday can still produce locally heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and some brief gusty winds…
