MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs and the Alabama National Guard have opened a new Veterans Service Office at Joint Force Headquarters in Montgomery.
A ribbon cutting was held Wednesday. The office will give Alabama National Guard members, veterans and their families direct access to accredited Veterans Service Officers who can help with benefits claims, healthcare enrollment and other veteran-related services.
