15,808 voters wanted this pot smoking pastor to be Alabama’s next governor, now he may run for Congress

After an unsuccessful run for Alabama governor, JaMel Brown is proud of what he accomplished and thinks some of his critics should “get a life.”

Brown, 35, ran what can be considered a very unconventional gubernatorial campaign and received 15,808 votes, placing fourth in the Democratic primary Tuesday.
