FIRST ALERT: Showers Wednesday Morning, Heat Returns Thursday

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Scattered showers are back for the first half of today before more heat builds back in for Thursday. We’re also giving you the First Alert to a surge of tropical moisture bringing the best storm chances of the week Friday.

As the skies brighten and the rain ends, expect temperatures to reach the mid-to-upper 80s.

We’ll keep an isolated shower or storm in the forecast LATE for Thursday, before better rain chances arrive overnight and into Friday.
