NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — After 32 years of working as a firefighter in Virginia, North Myrtle Beach’s Deputy Fire Chief John Galganski was ready for retirement.

But just three years after he became eligible, he jumped right back into a leadership position with no signs of stopping.
