The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office says an Aurora man has died from injuries sustained in a five-vehicle crash last week on Tuesday afternoon near Ridge and Bell roads in Seward Township.
Police say 79-year-old Erling Varland died at a hospital the day after the collision. The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and Will County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m. when all five vehicles were traveling southbound on Ridge Road. Police say one vehicle slowed to make a left turn onto Bell Road, causing a chain-reaction crash…
