A Yorkville Man Has Been Found Guilty Of Murder In A 23-year-old Cold Case Of An Aurora woman

More than 23 years after a 22-year-old Aurora woman mysteriously disappeared, a 53-year-old man has been found guilty of her murder, bringing closure to her friends and family decades later. On Wednesday 53 -year-old Prince Cunningham, of Yorkville, was convicted of of first-degree murder.

Tyesha Bell disappeared from her apartment May 9, 2003. Her skull and other remains were found at a construction site in Montgomery in December 2020. A medical examiner testified she died from a gunshot wound to the skull.

Prosecutors say Cunningham was in a dating relationship with Bell, even though he was already married and was the father of her daughter…
