As the school year is coming to a close, you may find yourself looking for an event to kick off summer break on the right foot. From music performances to summer night celebrations, the Fox Valley area offers options for everyone.
The City of St. Charles is hosting another year of the Fine Arts show. The show features over 100 fine artists, each hand-chosen by a jury for their unique talents and creations. The pieces range from ceramic sculptures, digital art, jewelry making and photography, all of which are available for purchase during the show. The showcase is scheduled to occur on Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is free of charge for all attendees.
Every summer, the St. Charles community hosts a series of concerts throughout the warm months. The concerts feature various local bands and give community members the chance to enjoy music while also supporting small musicians. The city also sponsors vendors such as Kimmer’s Ice Cream and Wild Fries. The performances take place every Thursday night at the Lincoln Park gazebo starting May 28.
