Nashville-based hospitality company Pikeld Concepts purchased a late 1800s house in the Germantown neighborhood at the end of 2024 for $875,000. Businessman Steve Barone quickly developed a clear vision for what he wanted the place with a front porch, two big arched windows in front and a backyard to become.
He landed on a 1960s-era cocktail lounge with mid-century modern furniture, antique pieces on the walls and a menu of classic cocktails and cuisine that was popular back then. After separating from his original partner and running into the speedbumps anyone would expect in renovating an over-100-year-old house, Barone said Demure Cocktail Lounge will officially open in July 2026.
