Jim Beam column:Angry citizens decided to vote

Louisiana voters are coming under fire for rejecting five proposed state constitutional amendments on last Saturday’s ballot. Critics are especially upset that voters rejected Amendment 3 that would have given teachers and school support workers pay increases.

If voters are unhappy or angry, isn’t the voting booth the best place to vent their frustrations? And there are many reasons why they are so angry at this time.
