Two men killed in separate shootings in Pine Village and Central City over the past week were identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office Tuesday.
Rocky Smith, 46, died at a local hospital a day after he was shot in the 4900 block of Downman Road on the evening of July 27.
Gary Williams, 42, was arrested July 29 in St. James Parish on a count of second-degree murder in connection with Smith’s shooting. It is believed that Smith and Williams were involved in a fight when Williams shot Smith in the abdomen, according to a New Orleans Police Department offense log…
